We attended NDP Preview, and Kate did enjoy herself.
But there’s something bothering me after attending my first NDP parade at 40 year old 😂
To set the record straight, I performed 30 years ago when I was in primary school, then setup communication in 2002 when I was in the army, and even had to march in 2003. All were in the old Kallang National Stadium. Point is I’ve seen what goes on behind the scene and lots of fireworks.
It’s refreshing being in a spectator seat.
We were in the green sector, but there’s a BIG design flaw. We can’t see the fireworks at all. No kidding and I’m not the only one.
We were blocked by the giant projection behind us.
That giant projection is for the VIP sector you-know-for-who. Seriously, they have the best view of the performance already. If they need a projection, they can turn to the sides.
I have seen enough of fireworks, so not that I gian so much. But I told Kate about watching the firework display as we sing the national anthem. Sorry, that couldn’t happen for the green sector folks 😂
